I know it's been waaaay too long since I've updated, but I'm going to be short and sweet... Small talk later.
For those of you who have been living under a rock, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd is ELECTION DAY!!! Make sure you go out and vote if you are registered, because as they say, every vote counts! This is your country, so give your input as to who you think is best-suited to lead it!
Both candidates are strong leaders, and I know this race is going to be a tight one! But as for me...
BUSH '04!!
GO OUT AND VOTE!!!

| | Swing Low Sweet Chariot - (RIP Gospel Music class) | ] | "I had a thought. Maybe the past is like an anchor holding us back. Maybe you have to let go of who you were to become who you will be." - Carrie, Sex and the City
Rearranging things in my undetectably crazy life is on the agenda. Carrie's right... let go of the past, and look forward to the future.
School is back in session, but I still can't shake the summer fun! I'll have to get back in the groove of studying like mad again. I had to drop my Intro. to Gospel Music class, which is kind of a bummer, but some of you know why it isn't such a bummer at the same time!! The class is on Wednesday nights from 6-9, but my Organic Chemistry exams are scheduled for Wed. nights @ 7:30. Sooo, now I'm taking Spanish 101 on Monday and Wednesday! I love Spanish, and I don't really have to take a language class because I placed out of it, so hopefully it'll be an easier class for me. But, the Gospel Music class did seem interesting. Ah well... ya win some, ya lose some.
Books cost me a butt-load this year. Just FYI.
I hope everyone has a great semester. I'm looking forward to seeing people I haven't seen all summer, and it'll be good to keep busy!
BIG KISSES (haha. That's from Starsky and Hutch!)
P.S. Sorority Recruitment is going so great!! I'm pumped!! PANHEL WHAAAAT! :-) |

| | Avalon - Brand New Day | ] | I have zero time to do this right now, but since I'm home, I felt the need.
The only thing I will say is this... cell phones are the tool of the devil! My bill: $231.53!?! Who does that?!? Atleast my mom is cool enough to just laugh at me and tell me that this is outrageous. She put post-it's all over my car and my computer at home that say, "Note to self: Verizon bill, $231.53, Reduce Usage." haha. How hilarious.
Pointless entry, I know. But like I said, I felt the need.
Peace out cub scout. |

Wow, it has been waaaaay too long!! Everything has been crazy since Alisha and I have moved into the A-P-T, and I wish I could get into details, but it would just be too much to type!! Here we go in no particular order...
#1. Cedar Point: too much fun! - Christiane and me writing funny notes on post-its to the boys, and the boys writing back questionable notes on pieces of cardboard. - The boys hitting on the lady at the parking lot gate. (Sean has no standards!! haha j/k) - The woman's mullet, the big green hat... haha! - Christiane's face being pushed back when I look over at her on the Raptor. - The boys hitting on the girls' table's waitress, and the boys' table's waiter hitting on the boys. J. Rocket's what what! LOL - Shahein making friends with EVERYONE in line, and showing off his ripped abs! - CA and Christiane getting pooped on by a bird. - Being "upset" on the Power Tower AND the Magnum.
#2. Debot: muahahahaha! - Alisha, Jennie, Chrissy, and I are malicious... 'nuff said!! hahaha
#3. Blockbuster: Target- little girl with her dress pulled up - "Mommy, chach." - "What sweety? Ice cream?" - "Chach!" - "What? Matchbox??" - "CHACH!!!"
#4. Dupe-a-loop! - Ian: Waterfaaaaall!!! WOOOH!! (w/ our fists in the air) - Workout bench - Heart to hearts on the stair case - Dodging the bb's - Making up songs with "Bupte" incorporated in them.
Closing thought (J. Springer style): So I've realized something in the past few days. My family, friends, and school are my priorities right now. I was in love at one point in my life, and it was a good feeling and I thought it might last forever. Now that it's gone, I admit, I'm really sad about it, and I don't think I can do it again for a long time. I'm just going to focus on my priorities, and keep being happy. I'll let ya'll know when I'm ready to move on in that department... :-)

| | My mommy | ] | For those of you who didn't know, I got surgery today... eek. I got my wisdom teeth removed last year around this time, but my dentist didn't realize until a few weeks ago that my gums didn't heal correctly, and basically left a big gap between my last molar on the lower right, and where my gums should have "fused." Anyway, I could explain it in medical terms, but I don't feel like it because I am DRUGGED UP BABY! They numbed me up so much, and I remember seeing a lot of blood on the doctor's gloves at one point, but other than that, I don't recall much. I wasn't put completely under, but I was drowsy enough from the medicine they gave me before hand, that I felt like I slept the whole time. Big ups to all of my wonderful friends- I appreciate the phone calls, messages, flower deliveries (A-keys/Dan), and IM's; I love you guys.
I'm going back to bed. I feel like a ton of bricks, and now that the numbing agent is going away, I am in pain. Yuck. Hopefully, the vicatin will help!! Yes!! Haha. Adios ya'll. I'll be back in action tomorrow. |

Which is worse: our unwanted result, if that is the outcome, or never knowing if things will turn out the way we want if we just pursue it." - Courtesy of A. Surma - It's a good one; I love it, and we should all think about it.
It's been a while, I know. I had some business to take care of, so I'm sure ya'll understand... OR I have just been a little lazy. Yeah, that's it.
Very very quick recap of last weeks in July:
1. Delt Sig formal was tons of fun! All the girls (Deephers, Phi mu's, non-sorority, non-college) were so much fun to be around!! Ofcourse, the boys were fun to be around also. I have pictures if anyone would like to take a peak!! And ask me about some hilarious/crazy/unbelievable stories!! I know the suspense is killing you...:-P
2. Tennessee with the girls was a blast! The (out)house was AMAZING! It was gigantic, and included sooo many accommodations. The drive going up the 80 degree slope of a mountain was a bit scary (eep!), but we all made it in one piece. It got easier every time... the trick is to NOT STOP!!! haha. Nobody fell out of the raft when we went white water rafting. Despite the smelly, ugly helmets we had to wear, there were some REALLY funny moments! (Ask for details). Cheese was hot, but he just may have "rafter's ass!" Horse-back riding was also very nice. The mountains of Tennessee are so beautiful. But ofcourse, Lauren Cilia didn't get to admire the view because she was too busy pulling on her horse's reigns to make it stop eating grass!!! LOL. (Again, ask for details).
3. Alisha and I have some MAJOR moving details to take care of! We went shopping today and did some damage on our bank accounts. But, we found some great stuff for the apt. Saturday and Sunday (July 31 and Aug. 1) are our moving days! Call us if you want to help! FREE FOOD, FREE DRINKS!!
There are my last 2 weeks in a tiny nutshell (or Buckeye! lol. Look it up; it's apparently a nut... Ohio State's mascot is a nut!!).
Before I stop for tonight, I would like to share something. If you feel chapped about something/someone, don't ignore your feelings or keep your annoyance/anger/saddness to yourself. DON'T talk to everybody EXCEPT the other party involved either. Everything turns out so much better when there is open communication between people involved. Don't let what others tell you about someone or something make you change your mindset or make up your mind; find things out for yourself, and then make up your own mind. That's all! I love you guys!! |

Ugh, I think I have an ulcer!! Not to sound like some hypochondriac, by last night I woke up to these sharp, sharp paines in my side! It would go away and come back every 10 seconds or so; these may not be the symptoms, but I'm just going to say that it's an ulcer for now, just because I've never been able to say that I have an ulcer!! haha...I'm so weird.
My dad came home on Friday, so I was happy! He called a lot while he was on his business trip in Japan, so I had already filled him in on the day-to-day details. But we sat down with some coffee and had a nice chat about how "interesting" some of our relatives are!! :-P
One of my cousins from my dad's side is a musician; he plays a few different instruments, writes his own music and lyrics, knows how to use the synthesizer, and sings. Well, he recently made a CD of 16 songs, and it's actually not too bad! If you like listening to music for the music (not necessarily for the lyrics, the beat, or being able to follow along), it's a cool CD to listen to. I'm proud of him. Now all he needs is a record label! Good luck Sean!
Also, we talked about my grandfather (dad's side), who passed away last year. He was an amazing person and a genius. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry --so his title was Dr. Goto!!-- and he worked for both the American and Japanese government. To make a long story short, my dad showed me this book of copyrights and patents, and my grandpa is listed as the inventor of a device called a "Hydrogen Purifyer." They are used in space ships to provide fuel, and a bunch of other things!! It's so exciting to know that he contributed so much to the world! I have lots to live up to!
Ok, I'm done with my random ranting. I love my family, I love my friends, I love everyone! Have a great day! |

Soooo... I went shopping today, and it was highly unproductive!! I just went to see if there was anything that I would want, but to no avail. I ran into Dave there though! He was buying a celly with his sister. Awww.
My brother called this afternoon, and he said that he and his fiance just decided to take a mini vacation to Florida "really quick." What's that about?!? He said, "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that Yvonne (pronounced E-VON) and I decided that we needed to get away for just a few days, so we left this morning (Monday), and now we're here at the condo." I took a while to reply because a few things ran through my head: a.) WHY?! b.) How lucky of you to make so much money that you can take "quick trips" to Florida with the fiance whenever you feel like it. c.) How lucky of you that our parents invested in a condo in the first place. You would be on the streets somewhere in Florida otherwise. d.) WHY?!
So I asked him when he was coming back, and he said, "I think Thursday." You think?! I won't even get into it. My brother and I are very close, and I love him to pieces, but this may be one of the weirdest things I have EVER heard anyone do. Oh well.
I'm going to go have fun with a much neglected friend now. Have a good night everyone! |

| | Joe Budden- Pump it up | ] | Yesterday was uneventful, yet mildly entertaining! :-)
During the day I didn't do much of anything. I talked on the phone for a few hours, while I caught up on some channel surfing (I haven't watched tv in a loooong time), did some cleaning around the house, and did some laundry.
The fun part: Alisha and I went out to dinner at Eastside Mario's to visit Christiane! We tried to finagle our way into getting her as our server, but apparently, the hostess was being a butt and told us she couldn't do that. We ended up getting a table right by Christiane's section; but then, she used her mad negotiating skills and switched tables with our original server! Yay! Might I say, Christiane is awesome at her job... she's peppy, cute, and nice, and she lets people eat out of the big salad bowls with the salad tongs!!! LOL!! Hilarious.
We pretended that it was Alisha's birthday so that we can smuggle some free cake!! July 2, 1984 is her new birth date. Christiane said it took 50 hours to get all the servers together to sing the happy birthday song, and I laughed hysterically. So Alisha had to hold this pepper grinder over her head while everybody sang to her. Fun.
I did get sick and party-poopered out on the rest of the night, but all in all, it was a great day, with great food and great people.
Today's a beautiful day! Everybody should get out and enjoy it! |

That one's for you Lauren. You know I love you, and we'll be best friends forever- even through going to different schools, making new friends, adding to the list of best friends, making new boyfriends... whatever. I don't even have to tell you to call if you need me. You always do, and I do too. Keep treckin' sweety; everything will be fine in the end. I just know it. For old time's sake to make you smile/laugh hysterically: "Cruisin' down Ford Road wit' our *bling*.. *bling*.. on!"
Today has been adventurous. Maybe that's not the word for it, but I've definetly kept myself busy. I woke up, and I completely forgot to eat breakfast, but I FOR SURE took a shower. Those of you who have witnessed my OCD tendencies KNOW that I would never skip a shower; even if I'm dead tired and dragging myself into the house at 4:30am, if I have an ounce of dirt, sweat, or any kind of bacteria on me, I WILL take a shower. Anyway, now that that little tidbit is said, I can move on. Bare with me because I just may spurt out random information and/or keep refering to different times of the day!! lol.
First, I went to the apartamento and turned in some more paperwork. The lady, Jil, who is working on our paperwork is really nice. She lives in Canton too! Wierd... So fastforward to later on in the afternoon. Liz Wheatley and I are best friends from our little dancer tike ages, but it's so hard to hang out together nowadays because we both have these crazy busy lives. Well, we were talking on the phone while I was driving home, and she tells me that just a couple days ago, Carly Constantine and she decided to move in together because Carly had to move out of her old apartment! This was a complete spur of the moment deal, and, apparently, they were at Canterbury Woods signing some paperwork and talking to the leasing agent until just a few minutes before I got there!! So they are moving into the SAME APARTMENT COMPLEX as Alisha and I!!! They're hopefully moving in next week because Carly needs a place to stay, so I will be helping Liz pack her things on Tuesday!! It's going to be a constant party up in Caterbury Woods this school year!! haha... I love it!
Rewind to 11:00am. I left CW and headed over to school where there would be some very important negotiations goin' down between enrollment services and myself. I registered for classes this past Tuesday, and I was able to get into Organic Chemistry, a bio class, and an online English class. That added up to a total of 10 credits. I had 2 more Bio classes that I wanted to take in order to catch up with my Major credits... Apparently, web registration DID NOT like that idea, because it said that I hadn't fulfilled the prerequisites for those classes. Those prereqs happen to be the Bio class I took this spring, and the Bio class I decided to take in the fall (this is the one I definetly got into) instead of the summer. Do ya follow?!? So I was annoyed, because I need those classes if I want to graduate within this century. Like I said, I went to enrollment services today to see if I could get an override permission for those classes. They gave me a form, and told me to go to CASL advising. I went, and one of the ladies looked like she absolutely did not want to be working, but she ended up being really nice. She looked over my classes, and she said, "That's fine. You have everything that you need." And, voila! I was in Bio 303... or so I thought. I tried to register for it, but I was waitlisted for the lab; if you know anything about science courses, you know that you HAVE to be registered for both the lab and the lecture to get your name on the list. If you register on the web, they won't even keep you the waitlisted list- it just deletes the class completely! So I stroll over to Enrollment Services again, and the nice lady put me on the waitlist for the lab, but she couldn't do anything about the lecture. I have to go into class the first day, and ask the lecture prof. AND the lab instructor to sign an approval form! The problem isn't even the fact that I have to do that; it's the fact that I don't even know for sure that I will be able to get in until that day!!! Yuck. ...Atleast I'm only 2nd on the waitlist. They're usually pretty nice about letting people in. Oh, but there's more! Do you recall how I needed 2 more classes?!?! Hmmm... Bio 303 is only 1. In my excitement, and trying to get into this class, I completely forgot to make sure that I had an override for Bio 306. What a fool. You ask, nothing else could possibly go awry, could it?! Yeah, well, my online English class got cancelled today. That knocks me down to a wopping 7 credits. Needless to say, I will be at school again tomorrow; I WILL find some classes. Grumbble grumbble. That was long, but I needed to vent.
Fast forward to after my convo with Lizzard. I went to subway at 3:00pm because I hadn't eaten all day. Six-inch grilled chicken on white with american cheese, lettuce, 2 slices of tomatos, and italian dressing. That's how I like my subway!! :-)
I came home, ate, cleaned the kitchen, watered the plants, brought the garbage can back into the garage (Thursdays are garbage days here), and then I had a phone-talking marathon. The order and time: Lynne (56 seconds; I called her back from yesterday, but she didn't pick up so I left a 26 second message), Dan (45 seconds; he called to say he was coming over), Tom (2 minutes), Carrie (6 minutes), Tom again (25 minutes), Carrie again (2 minutes; I left her a 1.5 minute message), CASL Advising office (15 minutes; I think I spent 5 minutes "holding").
Dan is sick right now, and he sweats even on relatively cool days. :-( He has a pretty bad fever, but we don't see a lot of eachother because of his job (obviously!), so he came to see me today. What a trooper. Not to be insensitive, but I hope I don't catch his bug; it's pretty bad.
That all leads me to good ol' livejournal. And now that I've written a novel about nothing, I need to go to kinko's to scan some pictures because my own scanner is being a butt. I need a new one... FYI: Christmas is on December 25th, my birthday is on March 7th, and I accept gifts all year round. J/k :-P
Lovies to all, and to all a good night. |
